With ChartView™ ATE (Advanced Tools Environment) system, it is possible to satisfy needs of users at costs more approachable. This system is composite by a standard module able to execute all functions common with other softwares such lay-out, file managing, video and graphics, alarms, database, reports and it gives an expansion interface. Using this central module expansion interface it's possible connect one or more modules: Plug-ins. They add request functions to execute duties requested by the project. In this way it's possible to prepare the software for final customer needs, personalizing the interface and the i duties that the system can execute.Developing industrial applications with Advanced Tools Environment (ATE) is very simple and with the aid of plug-in modules become extremely simple to expand the world around ChartView™. Interfaces for most common PLC, field nets and devices for data storing are avaiable, but Plug-Ins can do more as expand the packet and let ChartView™ to operate where a common SCADA cant't access, all practicable just plugging the expansion (Plug-in) to the software. .

Configurability: Interfaces

Every Plug-Ins are gifted of interfaces that let complete programmability and configurability. It's so possible to make use, in the best way, of all device that can be interfacied because the plug-in is optimized on this device. In the case of Plug-ins realative to math functions or screen object managing, once loaded, they'll put at diposal of users some interfaces that will let him to use all possible configurations. Inside BASIC language, language inner of ATE, where needed, Plug-ins expotr functions that give a complete control of inner functions. It's so possible to use the Plug-in for statistical math calling a simple finction by BASIC, just passing required values.

When the Plug-in is not avaiable: EDK Expansion Dev. Kit

May arise that for special needs you can't find, in the avaiable Plug-ins list, the plug-in you need. In this case there are two way to solve the trouble: the first is to call our technical office and ask us directly to make the Plug-in for you or in the second way, if in your structure you can reach a software developer, it is possible to use E.D.K. (Expansion Development Kit), that is freely ditribuited on ChartView™ CD. The Kit install a new "Wizard" for devolpement with Microsoft Visual Studio, so in this way, using Visual C++, it's possible to write owner Plig-ins. The wizard, lead the user to the construction of the entire structure of plug-in across some windows that ask wich basic particularity your plug-in must have. Once closed the wizard, all the source for basic functions will be created, and compiling will be created instantly a Plug-in with the basical requested particularities. At this point you have to add the detailed functions, all the pieces that have to absolve the task needed by user and then the trick is done! Making the Plug-in you have no limits in what you want to introduce, except phisical limits of your PC.
